Online Watercolor Workshop - May 21st - The cheese seller

May 2025 public workshop

Join Me for My Next Online Watercolour Workshop – Painting an Italian Cheese Seller!

I am delighted to invite you to my next online watercolour workshop, taking place on Wednesday, 21st May at 8pm UK time. For this special session, I’ll be painting a vibrant and atmospheric scene of a cheese seller in an Italian market – a subject full of character, bustling energy, and wonderful textures that are just perfect for watercolour.

Over the course of two hours, I’ll guide you step-by-step through my process, from the initial drawing right through to the finishing touches. You’ll see how I capture the lively market atmosphere, the subtle play of light on the cheeses, and the unique charm of the setting. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in painting figures, interiors, and still life – all in one scene!

You are warmly encouraged to paint along with me, and you’ll be able to ask questions at any stage. Whether you’re a beginner or have been painting for years, you’ll find plenty of tips and techniques to help you loosen up and bring your own personality to the painting.

After the workshop, you can send me a photo of your finished painting to be included in my popular group video critique. This is a great way to get constructive feedback and see how others have interpreted the scene.

If you love painting people, markets, or just want to try something different, I hope you’ll join me for this fun and interactive session. All you need are your usual watercolour materials and a willingness to have a go!
