Lincoln, UK, Watercolour, 15" x 11"
A workshop painting from last week. In about an hour or so I painted this scene from Lincoln. A few challenges from the source video - complex windows, shop windows on the buildings on the left. Then the cobbled street - how would you do that in watercolour? And next, the background. There were two towers from the cathedral. I replaced with a simpler single tower and a whole lot less detail.
Painted on Saunders Waterford, Cold Press, 300 gms.
