Polperro, Cornwall, Watercolour, 15" x 11"
Apart from the building and the shape of the background headland, a made up scene loosely based on Polperro in Cornwall UK. I try to keep it loose and let the watercolor do its own thing. While still damp, I do a bit of wet in wet with some darker values and get soft edges.
Painted on Saunders Waterford, Cold Press, 300 gms.
