Demo painting - Newquay Harbour Low Tide

Newquay, Cornwall UK, Watercolour, 15" x 11"

A recent demo painting done to a local art group and a slightly made up scene with the background being the cliffs behind the harbour and on the ridge a few houses. Coming down into the middle ground there's the lifeboat station and then the beach of the harbour. A contra jour with emphasis on the strands of seaweed across the beach.

Painted on Saunders Waterford, Cold Press, 300 gms.
