Livorno, Italy, 11" x 15"
Plenty of dry brush strokes in this one - mop brush on its side and not too much water, so fairly dry. From a composition point of view, I wanted the left hand side to be a dark border, projecting out a little in the middle with the shop blind and figure. Tip - don't spend a lot of time painting car windscreens - completely dark or left white is sometimes good for a sunny day, especially looking towards the light.
Painted on Saunders Waterford, Cold Press, 300 gms.
