Malaga, Spain, Watercolour, 15" x 11"

As I have mentioned in a few postings before, I normally avoid lighting/sun coming from behind me.  It makes for tricky shadows for figures and sometimes it's difficult to get a range of values.  But here I think the dark area on the left, the angle of the roof replicated with the angle of the shadow on the street helped.

Painted on Saunders Waterford, Cold Press, 300 gms.
