Libourne, France, Watercolour, 15" x 11"

A 'round' square if I can call it that, in central Libourne in South West France.  So a few of the buildings here are curved, so introduces a few challenges when trying to get their shape looking correct.  I went with a loose approach and introduced a shadow in the foreground and a few figures in the shade.  Cars very loosely painted also, using quite a bit of wet in wet technique.

Painted on Saunders Waterford, Cold Press, 300 gms.
