Bergerac, France, 15" x 11"

The quayside at Bergerac on the River Dordogne in SW France.  There's a lovely boat trip from the quay here which takes you up or down the river.  Moored up here is an old gabare, a traditional old trading boat in the area.  Quite a simple composition and perhaps I could have included a small boat bottom right, just to balance things out overall.
