Corsham, UK, 15" x 11"

The impressive entrance to Corsham Court, a large mansion house in the town of Corsham.  From a trip with the Exiles Plein Air painting group.  We would have liked to have painted the interior, but there was a hefty entrance fee, so not sure what jewels lie behind those gates.  I took the shadow from the lovely leafy parkland behind as a useful foreground interest and blended a couple of figures into those.
