The Bristol Savages Art Society group I belong to and each Wednesday sketch session we have a topic for the evening given by the Chairman.  So this was 'In deep emotion' and here is my interpretation - a harbour scene with a row of fishing boats.  Probably what took the most time was actually the background.  An initial light wash was laid down and when dry a darker wash became the buildings, with bits left out becoming roof tops.
