Corralejo, Fuerteventura, 15" x 11".

Corralejo on the Canarian Island of Fuerteventura, where it's always windy - great if you're a yachtsman.  This is the promenade walking towards the harbour.  Lots of white-washed buildings here along the seafront.  This was the first stage of the painting - wetting the whole building area, then while still damp, drop in some yellow tints and different tones to take off the colour of the bare white paper.  After that was dry I went in with the sky (with a bit of violet) and then it was business as usual.
