Landscape Watercolour of Padstow, 15" x 11" on Saunders Waterford Rough Paper 140 lbs
Every now and again I produce some work which is embarrassing, but I post it here as a reminder of the so many things that can go wrong with a watercolour. Mistakes here are 1) In my opinion bad composition 2) Sky too dark meaning I had to go even darker with the back and middle ground 3) Colours too bright 4) Reflections in the water not matching the sky. I could go on. Anyway onto the next.
I heard someone say recently, "you're always 5 paintings away from a masterpiece". Yes, quite true.

What a amazing art design looking so nice. You have done really a creative work. A big thanks for sharing with us !!
