The very ornate front of Santa Maria del Giglio, and inside housing many works of art including the only painting by Rubens in Venice.
The richly decorated baroque façade would be a nightmare to replicate in a painting (especially when you are short of time), so all we can do as a watercolouist is simplify the scene and suggest pillars and statues with darker brush strokes - a bit of dry brush works wonders.
