This narrow back street of Fowey (pronounced 'Foy' as I later found out!) runs parallel to the estuary and was so narrow in places I can believe it must be a logistical nightmare getting deliveries into the local shops.  Walking along, now and then you'd get little glances of the sea between gaps in the houses.  Anyway you couldn't get more Cornish a scene than here, and it was wonderful off season and the sun putting in a rare appearance.  I relieved the local bakery of their last Cornish pasty of the day.
