St Foy la Grande, France, 15" x 11"
For some reason, a street scene without people! Not usual for me. I suspect my reference photo was taken after the Saturday Market, mid afternnon in summer and devoid of anyone. Makes a change. If I had to include a figure, I probably would have sneaked one in one the right hand side, joining the middle ground to the background.
Painted on Saunders Waterford, Cold Press, 300 gms.
