Last day on my recent trip and we're up in the mountain village of Monte del Bianchi. Every year I'm there, we seem to always get glorious weather and lovely bright sunshine. My plein air was from the 'end' of the village. The monastry/church is behind me (you can just make out the shadow of the cross from it) and we're looking up the village. There's only one narrow street. Very peaceful spot and great views of the valleys around.
Painted on Saunders Waterford, Cold Press, 300 gms.
This painting is sold.
