A log fire painted in Watercolour, 15" x 11"
So experiment number 2 - how to paint a log fire. So I didn't paint flames as such, but some smouldering logs that have reached the 'ember' stage if that's the correct term. Not sure what sort of painting this is - still life? Plein air? The paint dried a bit quick in front of it though!!
Painted on Saunders Waterford, Cold Press, 300 gms.
