Bergerac, France, Watercolour, 15" x 11"
Place Pelissière, in Bergerac France. A quick plein air while my painting friends were lunching, and I almost wet abstract on this one. A symmetrical view, against the light and some chance to play with shadows and shapes with the cafes and parasols. Sword brush helped define the foliage on the tree.
Painted on Saunders Waterford, Cold Press, 300 gms.
