The Place des Martyrs de la Resistance, outside the main Railway station. Just an ordinary scene really, looking almost into the scene and a useful pedestrian crossing to help lead the eye into the composition. The buildings in the area have a lovely feel of minor decay which I try to portray with a bit of splattering and different colours in the walls. Quite a busy spot as there's a little cafe opposite, just before you get to the Station.
Painted on Saunders Waterford, Cold Press, 300 gms.
