Watermill Tuscany 2018 watercolour course painting #3 - Verrucola

Verrucola, Italy, Watercolour, 15" x 11"

Monday, and a visit slightly up in the mountains to the village of Verrucola. Here, we all positioned ourselves on or around the bridge leading into the village with lots of different painting options - the front of the village as I did, up the valley or a view of the mountains in the background. Lunchtime and a delicious hearty stew washed down with some local red wine. Ready for some loose painting in the afternoon.

Painted on Saunders Waterford, Cold Press, 300 gms.
