Chania, Crete, 11" x 15"
A little exercise in perspective and angles. The scene is an old part of town and some lovely chequered patterns of slabs. So this was done with a couple of washes - the second being the one that creates the patterns using a mob brush and pressing down hard in the foreground to give a thicker line and then lifting the brush towards the distance to get a narrower line. The angled shadows add another area of interest in the top portion.
