Landscape Watercolour of Lanzarote, 15" x 11".
A turn in the road, in Puerto del Carmen. A stormy sky, but bright sunlight here casting sahadows across the road. Sky was wetted first, leaving out bit here and there to help with the definition of sharper clouds. Then a darker was was dropped in for the clouds proper (maybe ultramarine blue and burnt umber and a little yellow ochre). Cerulean blue was then dropped in for the sky, merging with the clouds.

Strong lighting is a feature of your work Tim. Thanks for describing your sky technique.
