Castle Coombe, England, 22" x 15"
A recent workshop demo painting of the iconic view of the bridge at the very pretty Castle Coombe. Done on my style, and the reflections took a bit of working out. They are a bit like the sky - don't overdo it in my thinking. The trick I think with a river reflection, different from the sea, is to get a sense of movement. I think the water flows left to right...
