Newquay, Cornwall, 15" x 11"
The RNLI lifeboat station on Newquay Harbour. Newquay town sits high above the harbour, and there's a steep road leading down from the top. As regards the composition, I have some help with the sloping skyline mirroring the angle of the base of the buildings, and some handy yellow grid lines on the car park leading the eye in. I also try to balance the figures up here, so a larger scale couple on the left and a solitary smaller figure on the right, and all pointing in towards the centre.
