Chania, Crete, 15" x 11".
Market day along the coastal road in Chania, between the two harbours. I think with a scene where there's many people, you just concentrate on a few figures and then understate more 'minor' figures. Here I have a couple of main figures connecting the foreground and middle ground and a lone figure in the middle catching the light. Hopefully the white van on the right, balances with the blue sign on the left.
