Rue au Ble in central Cherbourg, Normandy, France. The tall house in the middle was a bit shabby looking but I think makes a nice focal point here and has those typical French roof tops. I had a bit of fun connecting all the shapes - the background buildings - the 3 cars - and the 2 guys on the right. With painting into the light there's the chance to put in some deep shadows, painted mainly with neutral tint and ultramarine blue.
