Watercolour of Newquay Harbour, 11" x 15" on Saunders Waterford Rough 300 gms.
A little windy road leading down to Newquay Harbour in Cornwall and a scene at low tide (of course). The beach had a pretty basic treatment from me - just one wash, plenty of yellow ochre in the centre and a bit of cobalt blue towards the foreground. A small boat in the shadows adds a bit of interest there, and just a hint of it catching the light.

It's a cracker Tim. I prefer your lighter paintings.
