Faro railway station, well located in the middle of Faro and right next door to the bus station (well only about 200 yards away). The main railway building is typical period style architecture and has not given way to the demands of the modern railway traveller. You can catch regular trains here going east and west (nice little trip to Tavira) along the coast, as well as up to Lisbon.
