Bristol Savages Artists Outing to Tewkesbury - Plein Air #1

My first plein air of Tewkesbury on a recent trip there with my art group, the Bristol Savages. Absolutely lovely day, no wind and bright sunshine. First plein air was an iconic view of the Abbey across the river. Very beautiful spot and very peaceful earlier on in the morning.

Painted on Saunders Waterford, Cold Press, 300 gms

Such a wonderful place deeply embedded in its culture - so much to see. Glad I moved to Gloucestershire a few year back.
