Goose Green practice painting and how difficult it is to duplicate paintings done in a loose style

A practice painting for my first online demo I gave a few months ago now.  Not surprisingly, when painting in a loose style, it's impossible to replicate two paintings exactly and that's one of the charms for watercolour for me is observing how pigments mix on the paper and as paint dries, seeing those different random areas of hues especially here in the shadows.

I painted along with your demo of this one last month (after the fact). I didn't discover it until it was on YouTube. Since then I've watched the other demos as well. I've since then discovered your web page and have checked out all your paintings. I like your style of painting and try to emulate it; hope you don't mind!
Will you be doing a demo this month?

Thank you very much Jim. You can send me a photo of your painting if you wish, as a few others have done a copy also (of the St Tropez one) and I might show them on the next session.

I don't have a date yet for the next one - maybe the next 2-3 weeks I hope.

Thanks again.
